Did you ever play in a tent as a child? I am not talking about the typical outdoor tent but a magical place inside and under a canopy of your own design. I did and it was always fun.
This is an activity my children enjoy so much that they ask for it and since it is so simple, I am happy to oblige.
What you will need:
- Sheet or light-weight quilt
- Dining chairs or other props
- Weights to hold the fabric in place or rubber bands/twist ties to attach the fabric to the chairs
Take it up a notch by making S’mores in the microwave! Just place a graham cracker on a plate. Top with a piece of chocolate (or chocolate chips) and a marhsmallow. Microwave for about 5-10 seconds or until the marshmallow starts to puff. Do not overheat! Top with another graham cracker. Cool slightly and serve.
