Sometimes, you need a quick meal to be ready when you walk in the door. You know what I am getting at, right? The crock pot love affair.
But, what do you do when you forget to thaw the chicken?
No worries. Just toss it in there with your favorite barbecue sauce. I use two jumbo chicken breast halves and the entire bottle of sauce. Pour it in and then add water to the bottle (about 1/4 full), shake it and add that in too. Let it cook all day on low, at least 8 hours.
When you get home, pull the chicken out of the crock pot and use two forks to pull it apart.
Put the chicken back into the crock pot and stir it up.
To serve, just scoop it onto buns. I like mine with mustard.
