Hip, hip, hurrah! We studied the letter H last week and had a HOPPING good time.
Lately, I feel like our homeschool weeks are littered with other engagements, making it hard to have a decent school day but I plan to crack down on our schedule next week so we can get a lot more done.
H is for Hippo
Confessions of a Homeschooler has some great printables if you are studying “H is for Hippo.” I printed out some of those and we played with the Playskool Clipo Feature Hippo.
I took the opportunity to work with Ruble on his colors and ws shocked by how much he knew. He knows all of the colors by sight but did mix up the brown and black hippos on the chart. I think that is primarily because when printed and laminated, the brown is very dark.
H is for Hammer
This was super easy to get together. I mean, a boy with a hammer. That’s all you need except for some ear plugs.
I also printed out some printables from 1+1+1=1 and Ruble practiced with puzzles and lacing.
