Gift Ideas for Your Little Learner ~ Ages Newborn to 24 Months

If you are scratching your head trying to figure out what to buy that little learner in your life, please allow this mom of four to help you out.

Lamaze Soft Chime Garden Musical Toy ~ This is one of the sweetest baby toys I have come across. We purchased it for Ariary as her Easter present when she was just 1 month old. She loved the happy sounds and lights then and loves it even more now at almost 9 months old.

Tiny Love Musical Nature Stroll Toy Bar ~ I love this product so much! It fits on our highchair and stroller. We have used it on a bouncer and car seat too. It is so flexible and adjusts to fit anything. Unlike some car seat toy bars, it gives enough room when attached to an infant carrier that the toys do not slap the baby in the face but is still within reach for play.

Playskool Magic Screen Palm Learner ~ I know that this toy is recommended for ages 3 and up but trust me. My children have all loved it and Ariary is already playing with it. Lira was counting and saying her alphabet as soon as she learned to talk thanks to this toy! I would recommend it for ages 8 months and up.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn: Learning Piggy Bank ~ Ariary is a little on the young side for this piggy but we have had it for quite some time and all of our children have loved it. Mommy enjoys knowing that they are developing fine motor skills while learning to count! It is also great for teaching colors and sizes.

And this is what Ariary is getting for Christmas ~ Shhhhh!

Boikido Wooden Push And Play – Rabbit Wagon ~ I love that this toy will grow with Ariary. She can play with the mazes on the side and then when she learns to walk, she can push it around. And, when she gets older, she can pack it with her treasures and push them all around the house.

Melissa & Doug Deluxe Picnic Basket Fill & Spill Soft Baby Toy ~ I’m not sure why children have the fascination with emptying boxes, baskets, purses, etc. but I think this toy is brilliant because it takes that desire and combines it with some cute foods.
