10+ Homemade Convenience Mixes

Share & Help Me Grow

DIY baking dry mixes

Convenience mixes are handy but compared to the cost it takes to put them together, they are expensive. You can shave some excess from your grocery budget by spending a little time each month making convenience mixes yourself. It only takes a few minutes and the savings can really add up.

Here are some of the mixes I have found ~

  1. Fake Betty Crocker Cookie Mixes from Fake It Frugal
  2. Homemade Bisquick Mix Recipe at Unsophisticook
  3. Hamburger Helper Pantry Kits from Tip Garden
  4. White Cake Mix from I Am Baker
  5. Fake Jiffy Cornbread Mix at Fake It Frugal
  6. Homemade Chocolate Syrup at Glorious Treats
  7. DIY Yellow Cake Mix at Chicken in the Road
  8. Homemade Vanilla Pudding Mix by The Creative Princess
  9. Instant Oatmeal by Frugally Sustainable
  10. Homemade Chocolate Snack Cake Mix from Restless Chipotle

DIY baking mixes

And, an amazing abundance on mixes at Hearts, Hands, Home. Wow.

What kinds of convenience mixes do you like to keep handy?

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.

My pleasure, Jan. Thanks for such an awesome idea. In our home, we avoid convenience foods like a plague. This will really come in handy. 🙂
