Over the next ten weeks, I will be participating with the “10 in 10” Blog Hop hosted by the iHomeschoolNetwork.
Have you ever wondered where I go for homeschool resources? If so, then today you are in luck because I am giving a list of my favorite websites for homeschooling.
Since I am a frugal-loving person, most of my favorites have to do with places I can grab freebies but a few of the websites help me save time and money too.
- Have Fun Teaching provides us with free worksheets, coloring pages, activities, and lots of other goodies.
- My local library’s website is also a favorite spot since I can browse the catalog online and place items on hold for Bill to pick up on his way home.
- CurrClick has a new freebie available each week and they are GOOD freebies!
- Amazon.com gives me tons of free educational apps and children’s ebooks for my Kindle Fire, and I must add that having supplies delivered to my door is awesome.
- Education.com is probably where I spend the most time looking for printables because they have free worksheets, activities, and more!
- Pinterest helps me keep all the amazing ideas I find for homeschooling organized.
- NotebookingPages.com makes creating notebooking pages super easy and that is a huge time-saver. (Don’t miss their Facebook Party on May 22nd for a chance to win tons of prizes!)
- Swagbucks, which I use for searching the internet, allows me to earn gift cards to Amazon.com where I can buy books and other classroom supplies.
- Apples4theTeacher has a unique variety of resources, including a worksheet generator, a dice generator, online coloring, and a ton of other stuff for all subjects and holidays.
- Scholastic Teacher Express often has ebooks for $1 and also has freebies available for download.

Awesome list. I too use pinterest to help my students. I also like amazon. I also like the video site watchknow, busyteacher for worksheets and wordsmyth for basic word quizzes. I have a whole bunch of sites I like here: http://eslcarissa.blogspot.com/2012/07/my-favorite-websites-as-teacher.html
