Guilty.
That’s what I am.
After spending much time planning for preschool and kindergarten, I barely have any energy left for Lira’s 2nd grade workboxes. On weeks like that, it is nice to be able to pull something out that is easy. That is one reason why I love Colorful File Folder Games, Grade 2: Skill-Building Center Activities for Language Arts and Math.
These games are simple to assemble. All you need is a manila file folder and something to attach the game with like glue or my favorite… packing tape.
I laminate the small pieces to keep them sturdy. Then, I tape the main board into the folder.
Lira loves them because they are bright and colorful.
I love them because they are instant and require no brain-power from the sleep-deprived mommy.
What are you putting in your 2nd graders workboxes?
