Adapting the Nativity Scene Printables for Puppets

Share & Help Me Grow

This week has been so much fun. Each day, we are working through the first week of the Christmas Unit Study, doing a little part of the Nativity story each day and using the Nativity scene printables from Catholic Icing. I adore them! I only had one problem… not enough toilet paper tubes. So, we got a little creative and made popsicle stick puppets.

Have the children color the pieces and then cut them out. (Honestly, I did the cutting.) Then, tape a popscicle stick to the back.

Fold the sides in and tape…

Then tape again.

Done. What a cute puppet!

You could always use glue but I get tired of hearing, “Mommy, is it dry yet? Is it dry yet?”

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.
