Before Christmas, Celestron very generously sent me a Handheld Digital Microscope to use with my children. Unfortunately, the first thing I noticed is that the microscope is best suited for teenagers.
So, I had a dilemma… I could hang on to the microscope for several years or pass it along to a lucky reader. Guess what I decided?
The Celestron Handheld Digital Microscope features:
- 10x to 40x and 150x Digital Power
- 1.3mp digital camera for snapshots and video
- LED illuminator
- Photo management software
- Powered by USB 2.0 cable
- Metal stand to hold the microscope steady
- Size – 4.25″ (108 mm) x 1.25″ (32 mm)
- Weight – 4oz (113g)
- Compatible with PC and MAC

i asked my 8 year old son and he said a LEGO, but i would want to check out the bugs that have appeared in the “poison water” that they “created” the other day.
PK @ Knee Deep In Grace says
The handiest thing to look at first would probably be the cat’s fur, compared to our hair, and then her skin compared to ours.
What a wonderful possibility! Thank you for passing this opportunity along to us!
Blessings,
PK
