Treat yourself to a little pampering with a DIY Home Spa Day. You can sip your summer with a luscious Snapple Premium Tea as you recreate these step by step ideas for a homemade spa day at home.
Recently, I was walking through Walmart and noticed a case of Snapple near the premium waters. Suddenly, my mind was flooded with memories from simpler days when I didn’t have a care in the world and could just sit back, sip Snapple Premium Teas, and enjoy the summer.
Snapple was always a special treat during the dog days of summer. I could stop by a store and get an ice cold Snapple on the way to the beach or “just because.”
Unfortunately, the (sometimes) stressful days of summer had obscured those sweet memories. Longing for those days of bliss from many, many summers ago, I loaded my cart with a 6-pack of Snapple Peach Tea and then went in search of more flavors near the checkout area. To my surprise, 18.5 oz Snapple Straight Up Tea and Premium Tea items were on Rollback for $1.00 in-store at Walmart. (Started on June 3rd.)
Lady LiberTEA contains a blend of delicious black tea with RED raspberry, WHITE peach and BLUEberry flavors. This flavor is available in stores between May 1st through July 4th in 16oz singles and 6 packs. Get it while it lasts!

I quickly browsed through the health and beauty section to grab a few other items, determined to treat myself to a DIY spa day at home, creating some “me time” in the midst of our busy summer schedule.
Home Spa Day: Step by Step
If you need a spa day but can’t make it to the salon, you can still pamper yourself from home.
1. Start with a yoga workout.
I love yoga. Stretching my muscles and feeling my spine straighten always seems to make me more peaceful. Afterwards, I feel like I stand taller.
If you do not have a favorite yoga workout, you can browse YouTube and find several for every stage of experience.
And isn’t it cute that my Snapple matches my yoga mat?! You don’t have a yoga mat? Just work out on a rug or carpeted area.
2. Soak in a hot bath with Epsom Salts.
Grab a book by your favorite author, light a candle, and run a hot bath with Epsom Salts and your favorite essential oils. Cedarwood and Sandalwood are both soothing and rejuvenating.
The Epsom Salt will help detoxify your body, pulling impurities through your pores, but you need to stay hydrated. I chose to drink Snapple because the the teas are free of artificial ingredients.
3. Pamper your toes.
Once you are feeling relaxed and clean, turn your attention to the piggies. Your toes get a lot of attention during the summer so give them a little attention during your DIY spa day.
While the skin on your feet is still soft from the bath, carefully remove any callouses with a pumice stone. Apply cuticle lotion around your toe nails and gently push back the cuticles to the toe bed making room for the polish. This little step will ensure that your pedicure stays pretty much longer.
File away any rough edges and apply a summer-ready color. Fruit Punch pink is always fun!
4. Apply a homemade facial.
What is a spa day at home without a luxurious facial?
Facials do not have to be purchased in a store to be effective. Neither do they need a long list of chemicals in the ingredients. Ouch. Instead, create your own natural facial using avocado, honey, and lemon.
As my toes were drying, I used the back of a fork to mash together half an avocado with one tablespoon of honey and the juice from half a lemon. To get a creamier consistency, you can blend the mask in a food processor.
Place the mask on your face and neck to infuse your skin with healthy minerals while fighting wrinkles and clearing pores.
With two cold slices of cucumber on my eyes, I was ready to kick back with some Snapple Straight Up Sweet Tea and listen to some soft tunes.
Honestly? I had never used cucumber on my eyes before and was shocked at how relaxing it really can be. Plus, my eyes did not feel as strained or look as puffy afterwards.
How do you #SipYourSummer?
A DIY Spa Day is always a wonderful way to treat yourself as is taking a quiet moment to sip a Snapple. How do you plan to relax this summer? In what ways do you steal some “me time” when the calendar is packed?
