When the children come home from school hungry, I need a snack option that will put protein in their tummies so they are not begging for food again before dinner. A Yoplait Yogurt snack bar gives them the freedom to choose healthy snack options while giving them flavors they love.
My family has a *slight* addiction to Yoplait Yogurt.
It might be a little more than a *slight* addiction. Yoplait is actually our go-to snack and I pick up a variety or two each time I go to Walmart.
I keep the refrigerator stocked with Yoplait Gogurt® for lunch boxes, a Yoplait Fridgepack for quick snacks, and a good supply of Yoplait Greek 100 for me.
The kids love that they have the freedom to open the refrigerator and grab a snack. I love that they are not eating junk food.
Yogurt Snack Bar
Once a month or so, I will surprise the children when they come home from school with a yogurt snack bar.
I set the toppings up before heading out to the car line. Then, as soon as we get home, the children can choose a Yoplait yogurt cup and start spooning on the toppings.
For our yogurt bar, I will set out a variety of ingredients and often put out something new to entice my picky eaters to try a new food. And it does work. The first time my kids put chia seeds on top of their yogurt, I almost fainted.
Great toppings for Yoplait yogurt include:
- granola
- chia seeds
- pepitas
- goji berries
- dried cranberries
- strawberries
- trail mix
- banana slices
- chocolate chips
- blueberries
- sprinkles
- mini marshmallows
- crushed graham crackers
- chopped candy
- crumbled cookies
- cereal
By putting Yoplait Greek 100 in their tummies, I am giving them a serving of protein to keep them from begging for dinner or another snack.
And believe me… junk food leaves them asking for more food every fifteen minutes.
More Yoplait? Yes, please!
In our home, Yoplait Yogurt is not just for snack time. About once a week, we have yogurt parfaits for breakfast. Just spoon fresh fruit in the bottom of a bowl. Add a layer of yogurt. Then, top with cereal. Serve with a slice of peanut butter toast on the side for happy, satisfied kids.
Super simple. Super fast.
A great use for plain Yoplait Greek 100 is as a substitute for sour cream in recipes.
The first time I placed plain yogurt on the counter for soup night, I put it in a plain bowl to see if my husband would notice the difference in flavor.
He put a huge dollop on his Taco Soup and gobbled it down. Poor guy had no clue that I had switched his favorite sour cream for Yoplait Greek 100.

And… just one more to make you crave Yoplait Greek Whips… I love topping the creamy goodness of this light and airy Greek yogurt with a my crunchy homemade granola. Packed with pumpkin seeds and goji berries, it is delicious and nutritious.
