Are you ready for one of the funniest days of the year? I have got some of the best ways to tease your kids (or spouse… or neighbor… or just about anyone) with these April Fool’s Day tricks.
I was so gullible as a kid… and that is probably why I hated April Fool’s Day. But now, as a parent, I end up looking over my shoulder all day long because my kids are so silly. They get me every time!
So this year, I am one step ahead.
Harmless April Fools Day Tricks
If you need harmless pranks for April Fool’s Day, check this out…
1) Coat a bar of soap with clear fingernail polish. Yeah… try to get enough suds to wash your hands when the soap is sealed with polish.
2) Make an entire batch of brownies for your friends. Get it? Brown… ‘E’s.
3) Tease them with a quick swap. Remove the roll of toilet paper and replace it with a roll of duck tape.
4) “Mom! Something is wrong with the water!!!” Just use a cotton swab to rub gel food coloring around the inside of the faucet.
5) Need suckers for your Suckers? Place broccoli and/or brussel sprouts on bamboo skewers and wrap with tissue paper.
6) Give a card “just because” to someone special… but glue the card shut so they struggle to get it open.
7) Grab a wad of paper towels or tissue paper and cram it into the toes of someone’s shoes. “Why don’t my shoes fit?”
8) Want to have a scream on April Fool’s Day? Tape a toy spider to the toilet paper and as they unroll the toilet paper, a spider pops up.
9) “Hey honey… I was thinking about making mashed potatoes for dinner. Can you look in the pantry and tell me if the potatoes have eyes?”
10) And never underestimate the power of a carefully placed rubber snake.
