EEME Electronic Projects for Kids Review (Giveaway 2/7 ~ 2/13)

Share & Help Me Grow

eeme review and giveaway

When I was a child, I can remember my Dad having a circuit board. With every wire, bell, and light, I was learning about currents and electricity. But, more than anything, I was learning that my Dad loved me and liked to spend time with me.

Investing in our children can be fun and educational. With EEME Electronic Projects for Kids, you can recreate those same moments I had with my father with your own children.

EEME Electronic Projects for Kids Review

The Genius Light project gives you an opportune moment to show your child how much you care while teaching them relevant lessons about electricity. If you have never mastered circuits and connections before, have no fear! EEME provides step-by-step videos that will not only teach (you and) your child which connections to make but why they work.

Each project is paired with online curricula to not only guide the kids in assembling the project but also to teach the concepts applied.

While these projects are targeted at children ages 7 to 12, our 6 year old had a fabulous time laying across our bed with Bill and worked through the activity.

EEME Review

The electricity was not the only thing making connections. As a new knowledge was filling Franc’s mind, he and Bill connected in their hearts.

When they flipped the switch and the LED light illuminated, Franc’s face glowed.

This project does not come with written instructions, which shocked me at first. But, when I signed in to the website and saw how the videos guide you through the project and include interactive questions and lessons, I understood why a piece of paper would be completely unnecessary.

I really appreciated that you can submit your questions, comments, and suggestions straight from the page under the video. EEME Dad is just a click away if the project gets complicated.

We had a little bit of issue with the video loading. I am not sure if this was a result of my laptop being tired and full, the connection being busy, or the video’s size being too large. Regardless, we were able to click through to YouTube and watch the videos with less trouble.

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.

Sign up for online videos through email. Also it states the age 7-12 but also great for parents to also learn with their child.

I loved that the Genius Lite Kit (and all of them I guess) comes with “45 minutes of online videos that will (1) teach you and your kid how to build the Genius Light, and (2) explain the electrical engineering concepts behind it”. I rarely can explain the concepts thoroughly enough so these are great.
