Planner for Once-a-Week Cooking

Share & Help Me Grow

All week, I have been sharing recipes to keep you from heating up your kitchen this summer. Today, I want to share a planner to help you think through my other trick… cooking once a week.

When I cook one time a week, I will

  1. Prepare a few crock pot bags for the freezer
  2. Partially prepare other meals – brown ground beef, cook beans, cut up vegetables, etc.
  3. Prepare other meals to place in the refrigerator – marinate meat for the grill, make patties for hamburgers, mix together a casserole for the microwave, etc.
  4. Make dinner for that night.

If I try to think through that in my head, I get dizzy. Since I think much better on paper, I thought you might too.

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.

I’m big into checklists and writing it down. Although I use my smartphone more for my to do lists, it’s still not the same to click a check as it is to cross something off the list with a pen. lol
