Free Printable Oven Free Menu for June with Recipe Links

Share & Help Me Grow

Last time I did a round of batch cooking, preparing 9 meals in 90 minutes, the temperature inside our home rose 5 degrees and the air conditioner could not keep up. As the summer heats up, cooling the house will only get harder and my power bill will rise. To defeat the heat, we plan only oven-free meals from June through mid-September.

Free Printable Dinner Menu for June with Blank Planner: Oven-free to keep your kitchen cool. Gluten-free options.

Gluten Free Options

  • Substitute gluten free pasta in pasta recipes. The majority of Meet Penny readers recommend Tinkyada, available at Amazon.
  • Use a gluten free soy sauce like Tamari Organic and Wheat Free Soy Sauce.
  • Switch flour tortillas for corn tortillas of Udi’s Gluten Free tortillas.
  • Instead of all purpose flour, use a Gluten Free All Purpose Flour.
  • Use gluten free condiments. I have found a useful website for finding gluten free products.

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.

Thank you so much for sharing! Cooking during the summer is always difficult because, as you said, it can really heat up the house. I’m looking forward to trying some of these recipes. 🙂
