My thanks to Space Scouts for sponsoring this post (and for the incredible package of goodies that provided my children with loads of educational fun!)
Have a space lover in your house? I have a perfect gift idea for you! Space Scouts is a fabulous present for boys and girls who love learning about space.
Why give a gift that is opened once and forgotten in a few days when you can give a gift that is new again every month?
With a Space Scouts subscription, your child will receive a new packet of fun activities and educational toys related to a place in space each month.
In the first month’s package, your child will receive the Space Scouts box, a Constellation Collection cover, a Space Scouts poster, and other fun activities.
Starting in the second month, you receive a sticker for the poster, a magnet to place on the box, and a constellation card to add on your collection ring as well as more learning activities and worksheets.
My children really enjoy the diversity of the puzzles and worksheets in each packet as these are not the type of worksheets they normally have during our school routine. Even children who attend school away from home will find the activities to be a refreshing change from what they receive at school.
This is NOT like homework. It is MUCH more fun!
While Space Scouts is geared towards ages 6 and up, even Lira (age 11) enjoyed the activity pages.
Since I only received one package, I divided the activities between my three oldest children. Everyone had something to do and they even compared what they were learning with one another. However, I recommend a separate subscription for each child to experience the greatest benefit from Space Scouts.
For the number of activities and toys you receive in each month’s package, the subscription fee is extremely reasonable. I am stunned that they can give you so much for such a small investment.
For your younger children, purchase a subscription from the Animal Trackers Club so that everyone in the family gets mail… and kids LOVE receiving their own packages in the mail!
So, this year you can give your child a gift that will fill the mailbox with surprises, their minds with valuable information, and their hands with fun.
What a great Christmas gift for a boy who has to many toys, I am going to send this to the grandparents, thanks.
What kid doesn’t love receiving snail mail surprises?
What an awesome looking supplement.
Looks like a cute, relatively inexpensive alternative to so some of the spendier activity subscriptions out there.
This is awesome! I know my two little boys would love this!
My daughter would love this, she loves anything space related
