How I Use My Well Planned Day

Share & Help Me Grow

After the recent giveaway from Home Educating Family Publishing, I was chatting with some friends on Facebook about how I personalized my Well Planned Day planner. Just in case you were wondering too, I thought I would share it with you.

When you first saw my planner, it looked like this…

Now, it looks like this…

I have added tabs to the Month-at-a-Glance pages so I can find each month quickly. I use this page as a general snapshot of what is going on with my blogs, family calendar and more.

I use the day by day area to track what we are doing during our homeschool week so I can be sure that it matches up with my lesson plans, which I have to report to my homeschool cover.

The right margin on the weekly pages is perfect for picking three goals for the week and to keep up with my menu. I also love the challenge of coming up with enrichment activities. This keeps me from getting in a rut.

To make it easy to flip to the exact week we are on, I used packing tape to put a ribbon in the back. Instant bookmark! I love it.

If you do not have a planner, I highly recommend The Well Planned Day.

Get it now for just $16.22 with coupon code HEDUA927.

Full disclosure: When I planned this post, it was out of my love for this product. Now, I am currently working for the Home Educating Family Association but my affiliation with them in no way influenced my review. Opinions expressed in this post are 100% my own.

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I’ve been trying to figure out how to make my planner work for us with all our state requirements. I’m going to use some of your ideas and i think that will help a lot.

I haven’t been able to make it work as my actual lesson planner as i have too much to write for each subject area, but i really like it for keeping track of what lessons were done which days and organizing all the other stuff our schooling and life need. This really helps me when preparing my quarterly reports and with my household paperwork.

I am so glad I could help, Jessica. I really love the planner for keeping up with what we actually did. I hope that works well for you.

I’m a 2nd grade teacher in a small Christian school. I love my Well Planned Day planner!!! Not only can I keep up with my lesson plans in it, but I can also keep track of which students have music lessons on which days…. Though I’m not a homeschool mom, I was a homeschooled child. I quickly learned the art of organizing information from my mom and this planner has been a great help this year!!!
