How to Have a Heart for Your Kids by Rachael Carman

Share & Help Me Grow

Several months ago, I was gifted with a copy of How to Have a Heart for Your Kids by Rachael Carman.

Rachael Carman Book coverThe words of this book are a soothing balm to this weary mother’s soul.

You might consider How to Have a Heart for Your Kids to be a how-to manual as Rachael outlines the acrostic H.E.A.R.T.

H- Have a heart for the things of God
E- Enrich your marriage
A- Accept your kids
R- Release them to God
T- Teach them the truth

For me personally, this is more than a guidebook. It is a manifesto declaring that mothers are to seize the moments, recognize the potential in their children, and submit to the Lord’s authority.

Rachael Carman Quote 1

If you are a homeschooling mother… if you are a MOTHER… this book is for you.

Buy How to Have a Heart for Your Kids

Rachael Carman’s book is available from Apologia, Amazon, and Christian Book Distributors with prices beginning at $9.99. Read a sample here.

Also, I want to give you a peek into the Ultimate Homeschool Planner by Debra Bell.

Ultimate Homeschool Planner cover I know that the homeschool market hosts a lot of planners and I have used quite a few of them. So, you might be wondering, “What makes this one the ULTIMATE Homeschool Planner?” Allow me to show you.

The Ultimate Homeschool Planner allows room for planning (annual, monthly, and weekly) and has space for goals and priorities.

The months and weeks on the planner are left undated so you can pick up the planner and use it, beginning on any day of the year.

However, my favorite features set the Ultimate Homeschool Planner apart from every other calendar I have used.

Ultimate Homeschool Planner Review I love that you are given room each week for:

  • Creating a Bible plan
  • Outlining a battle plan with a fighter verse
  • Recording your prayer requests
  • Planning for outreach and hospitality
  • Recalling the most memorable moments of the week
  • Rejoicing in the evidences of God’s grace.

The Ultimate Homeschool Planner is much more than a calendar. It is a Christian mother’s planner for every area of her walk with the Lord and a keepsake waiting to be prepared for future generations.

Buy the Ultimate Homeschool Planner

If you would like to purchase the Ultimate Homeschool Planner, you can find it on the Apologia website, at Amazon, and at Christian Book Distributors for prices beginning at $22.99.

My eldest daughter is just finishing up General Science and can’t wait it to start Physical Science next week. She loves this science program and often stops me to share with me something that she’s learned. I think that’s high praise from any young teen! My younger children want to start using the land animals or swimming creatures books now. This is the first science program that I ((the Mom) have liked as well.
