As I have mentioned my workboxes a few times, I have fielded several questions. So, I decided that we needed a Workboxes 101 webinar… or at least a few posts that are specifically dedicated to workboxes.
I make no guarantees that workboxes will fit every family but for my homeschool, they have been a sanity saver. Without workboxes, I was struggling to get the children motivated to have school, making daily threats and tolerating the constant, “Are we almost done?” Now, the children look forward to their workboxes each day and rarely argue about having school.
Since I value my workboxes so much, I want to walk you through how you can use workboxes in your own school. This week, I will cover:
- What are the benefits of using workboxes?
- How do you use workboxes?
- Can you make workboxes fit your family (all ages, grades, home sizes, etc.)?
- What are some fun options for workboxes?
While this one-week series will thoroughly explain workboxes, I will not leave you hanging. Each week throughout the school year, I will show you what is filling our workboxes for all four ages… 2nd grade, kindergarten, preschool, and little learner.
