I must admit that I was nervous. Starting Franc into Kindergarten a year early. So far, he has excelled at everything I put in front of him. He buzzes through it so fast that our first week was a blur. Thank goodness for pictures!
Each day, Franc is reviewing a different letter of the alphabet. This week, he studied A, B, and C.
I am using the Brain Quest Workbook: Kindergarten as his primary curriculum and it is so easy to just rip a couple of pages out. That takes care of a few boxes each day and Franc enjoys them.
At first, he tried to breeze through it without really working to perfect the activities, especially handwriting, but with a little encouragement and praise, he has started trying harder.
He really enjoys using the dry erase marker on laminated pages too.
Computer time is always a favorite and PBS Kids has amazing (and FREE) games that are highly educational.
These linky thingies came from Oriental Trading and are always a huge hit with all the children. So, it was a great addition to his fun workboxes one day. His imagination went wild.
My favorite item in his fun workboxes was the Word Whammer Fridge Phonics. Don’t get me wrong, Franc loved it too.
I love how it guides him to make new words and I especially love…
Seeing his happy dance when he gets a word right!
