Kindergarten Workboxes ~ Week Eight (Letter W)

Share & Help Me Grow

Ok… don’t laugh.

This week, we were supposed to study the letters W and X. I knew it was going to be a busy crazy week, especially since it was Franc’s 5th birthday and I was prepping for consignment and such. Anyway, the letter W was wonderful and went off without any probwems.

The next day, I am in the shower, thinking about what I wanted to do for the letter X. I got out of the shower, got dressed, and filled Franc’s workboxes with items for… the letter Y!!!

It didn’t even cross my mind that I had skipped over the letter X until that evening.

So, all I am sharing with you today is what we did for the letter W.

Please pardon the wacky woman without sleep.

Letter W

Being raised in the South, the letter W means WATERMELON. It’s a staple in our summer diet. I love Franc’s version but I have to wonder… if I sliced open a watermelon that was purple inside, would I eat it?

And, because Franc is fascinated… in a “Daddy! Get that away from me!” kind of way… of spiders and their webs, I thought he might like to make a web of his own. Ugh… not so much.

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.
