Kindergarten Workboxes: Week Two (Letters C, D, E, F)

Share & Help Me Grow

This week, Franc reviewed to letters C, D, E, and F in his workbox activities and had so much fun doing it.

Letter C

Confessions of a Homeschooler has some great printables for C is for Caterpillar and I really liked this number order activity. The only problem Franc had was with the 16 and 19, which he confused but quickly figured it out.

Because he loves glue, this was a fun little craft to demonstrate that “C is for Clouds.” We did some cloud-watching during the week too… which was easy since it was so rainy all week.

Other Letter C activities:

  • Played with the Cookie Match game from Oriental Trading
  • Read The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Letter D

Since Lira has her reading journal, I thought Franc might want to try his own hand at reading comprehension. We read Dog and I asked him to draw a picture of his favorite dog.

Other Letter D Activities:

  • Dino Counting from Confessions of a Homeschooler
  • Played with the Playmobil T-rex With Velociraptors
  • Lined up dominoes in a pattern to watch them fall
  • Made dinosaur imprints into playdough

Letter E

The Brain Quest Workbook: Kindergartenhas a fun color-by-letter picture for each letter of the alphabet. In this picture, the E is for elephant.

Other Letter E activities:

  • Had fun playing with the Elefun game
  • Ate boiled eggs for lunch
  • Read An Extraordinary Egg

Letter F

For the letter F, we read Froggy Bakes a Cake. I was stunned by the number of words beginning with F in the book.

Franc and I made a game of it. The person who found the most words beginning with F was the winner and because I am a good sport, Franc won.

Other Letter F activities:

  • Practiced jumping like a frog
  • Did a Do-A-Dot printable page from Confessions of a Homeschooler

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.
