For the non-bloggers in the crowd, please pardon me as I take a trip off-topic and share something I have created that will teach others how to make money blogging. Is it really possible? Oh yes! Yes, it is.
Our Blogging Story
If you have read this blog for very long, you know that our family has struggled financially for many years, even filing for bankruptcy at one point but then changing our minds and paying off those debts through negotiating with collectors.
For a little over a decade, we hovered around poverty level but during that process, I learned how to blog and then how to make a profit through blogging.
I distinctly remember the first month I not only matched my husband’s full-time public school teacher salary but surpassed it by $1,400. (All glory to God!)
We have journeyed from not having a place in our budget for groceries to being able to pay groceries, gifts, and special trips for our family.
Don’t get me wrong… we have chosen to live a frugal lifestyle and will continue to do so as our passion is more about giving to others than keeping for ourselves, but the peace that rests on me now is amazing.
No more sleepless nights or fear of unexpected bills.
The relief is amazing, and it all comes from God who has given me the information necessary to create blogs that provide a consistent flow of income while I stay home with my children and school them.
You Can Stay Home
Don’t believe the lies that tell you staying home is an unworthy sacrifice that will make you dumb and bring you to financial ruin. It just is not true.
I am tremendously blessed to be home every day with my children and give them a focused, quality education where they can be who God intends for them to be. (Notice that I didn’t say I FEEL blessed every day – Ha, ha!)
Then, outside of school hours, I can build a business that is extremely fulfilling to me personally while supplying the supplemental income we need to not only make ends meet but to have a ton of fun while my children are young.
How Can You Make Money Blogging?
Blogging is not a “get rich quick” scheme. It takes a ton of work, dedication, and time. As a matter of fact, I have been blogging for four years.
I did not make money as a blogger until I had been publishing online for two years.
However, I think I would be much further along in my career if I had been equipped with all the information that it took me three to four years to accumulate.

Love this, Tabitha. I’ve been making an income online for years (for the same reasons you sought to) by freelancing, but I’m interested in building up my blog income to have a little more freedom over my time.
I was making a bit of money from my blog each month, but what you taught me in Monetize 45 helped me increase it by 600% in November (!!!!!!!!!!) That’s very exciting to me!

Thank you for sharing so much, I am also starting from scratch and teaching myself how to make this whole blog thing work. I am a former women’s ministry leader and my goal is to just help other people and give them vision for their own lives and that they can be or do anything if they just believe in themselves. The world seems to be jetting more and more unhappy, it is refreshing to see such a positive example in your blog and videos, thank you for your inspiration.
