Originally, I saw this idea in Family Fun magazine and knew that we had to try it. So, I covered the tables with newspaper, pulled out some construction paper, cut some straws in half, watered down a little poster paint and smocked up the kids. Fun, fun!
At first, the children thought I had lost my mind which might be true but I was persistent. “No, we do not need paint brushes,” “Yes, you can do this.”
In the end, it was tons of fun and they really enjoyed it.
COST: $0 because I already had everything we needed!

love this idea. my 10 year old is creative and this summer she is staying home with me instead of at daycare summer camp; I may have to do this with her one day
Loretta, if you do this, I would love for you to send us pictures!
