Share & Help Me Grow

easy recipes for families
Well, I have an abundance of Italian Sausage and Beer Bratwurst in my freezer so I am trying to eliminate some of it since it is not my favorite thing to eat. If you have a great recipe, let me know!

1) Pasta E Fagioli
Serve with crackers or biscuits.

2) Messed Up Nachos
Brown 1 lb ground beef and drain. Return to skillet and add one can mild Rotel and 1/2 block of Velvetta. Stir as it melts and allow to simmer until it thickens slightly. Crush tortilla chips into a bowl and top with Velvetta mixture. Top with your choice of lettuce, black beans, tomato, cheese, sour cream, avocado, black olives, salsa, etc.

3) Swiss Round Steak
Serve with rice and a frozen veggie.

4) Chicken Pot Pie with Cheesy Biscuit Topping
Found on page 100 of “Family Feasts for $75 a Week” cookbook, a cookbook I HIGHLY recommend.

5) Barbers Stuffed Chicken
A Penny Perfect purchase a while back, but it often goes on BOGO at Publix and Winn Dixie. Will probably serve with a side salad.

6) Spinach-Artichoke Tortellini
A family favorite by Rachel Ray. Serve over garlic toast.

Desserts (bribery to get my children to eat):

1) Apple Crescent treats
To get rid of an extra tube of crescent rolls leftover from our Super Bowl pigs-in-the-blanket. They were so good!

2) Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies ~ From a mix

3) Jello with Cool Whip

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.
