easy recipes for families
1) Mediterranean Lasagna with Garlic Bread
Based loosely on the recipe found HERE but I plan to use artichoke hearts, spinach and black olives and leave out the fennel, leeks and mint. I will let you know how it turns out and publish the recipe I use when I cook it.

2) Turkey Cobb Salad
Found in the Everyday Food Great Food Fast cookbook on page 36 or find it HERE.

3) Jazzy Ramen Stirfry
Found in the cookbook Family Feasts for $75 a Week on page 131 or found at Mary’s fabulous blog HERE.

4) Toasty Tuna Melt Casserole with a frozen veggie
Found on page 119 of Mary Ostyn’s cookbook. You can purchase her cookbook through Amazon and I even saw it at Sam’s Club last week!

5) Lentil Soup with leftover garlic bread
Found in Everyday Foods cookbook on page 263 or find it HERE

6) Shepherd’s Pie
From page 110 of Family Feasts for $75 a Week or find it HERE.

“Hey, Mom… What’s for dessert?”
We use dessert in our home as bribery to get the kids to try new things. We have extremely picky eaters here (one being autistic) but I believe that I serve them wonderful foods and they should try it. So, if you taste your food, you get dessert.

The desserts we are rotating this week…
1) Caramel Bread Pudding
More on this recipe to come!

2) Jello with Cool Whip

3) Mandarin Oranges

So, what is on my shopping list?
Avocado, Potatoes, Sour Cream, Curry Powder, Cabbage, Broccoli, Ginger

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.
