Shopping Tips & Time Savers

Share & Help Me Grow

  • Don’t shop every store every week! Eventually, each store will run a similar deal. Limit yourself to TWO stores per week. Plan your trips on the way home from work or with other errands to save time during the week.
  • Don’t try to match the sales to the coupons yourself. Use SouthernSavers.com to save time.
  • Spend 10 minutes a day doing your research. Subscribe to your favorite blogs so they are emailed to you once a day.  Browse the headlines and move on.  Quick and easy.
  • Be prepared before you go. Sit down once each week and make your plan for all the stores you intend to shop. Place your list and coupons in an envelope marked with the store’s name.
  • Go alone. Children are wonderful but a HUGE distraction. Spouses may cost you a fortune if they do not understand the plan.
  • Watch the prices as they scan. Even the best store can make mistakes.
  • Get a Raincheck if the store is out of a deal that you want to nab!

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.
