About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.

This recipe looks delicious. I have made beef stew before, but never used the red wine vinegar. I bet it adds a lot of flavor and helps tenderize the meat. My Mama used to brown her stew beef before she cooked it and it does help add an extra level of flavor. Thanks for sharing. Deborah H. Bateman-Author

I think I have a slight addiction to red wine vinegar. I love using it in my beef dishes and you are absolutely correct. The flavor is wonderful and it tenderizes it perfectly. Thanks for swinging by. ๐Ÿ™‚

In this recipe you used mushroom soup. I have a child with a mushroom allergy what could I use as a substitute? The recipe sounds really yummy. Can’t wait to try it.

Since we gave up canned soup, I have started making a white sauce as a substitute. You could probably use plain Greek Yogurt too.

Tee hee hee. I love my polka dots! They just discontinued them with Pampered Chef and I was so sad because with our growing family, I need MORE.

Yum. Stew is one of my favorite meals and you can’t beat a slow cooker during hot Alabama summers.

I KNOW! I hate summer in the south… except for the beaches. When I was living in DFW, I missed the beaches SO MUCH. Guess that makes it worth it to boil through the summer’s humidity. ๐Ÿ˜‰
