Recommended Reading for Letter D

Are you looking for some fun books to read as you study the letter D?

Duck on a Bike ~ This is one of my all time favorites. I love it because it really requires the readers to think abstractly in one stop, using the picture to make you wonder what the animals are going to do. With a child with Autism, that is a very important skill. Plus, it is just a fun book to read with voices!

Dog ~ If bodily functions embarrass you, this might be one to skip but we really get a kick out of this rhyming book: “All dogs poo and all dogs pee.” Funny illustrations and moving parts.

When Dinosaurs Came with Everything (Junior Library Guild Selection) ~ What if you went out one day and instead of getting a balloon with your haircut, you got a dinosaur? What if on that day, dinosaurs came with everything? It’s a fun imaginary tale that we love to read.
