I have yet to master small home homeschool organization but I get better at it every year.
Space is sacred in my house and since we have decluttered (read: boxes upon boxes of books, clothes, and toys) to place our home on the market, I have become VERY picky about what gets put in the bookcase. That is when I had this lightbulb moment.
Digital curriculum!
It make perfect sense, really. I don’t buy a bunch of books just to have a bunch of books. My goal is to fill their brains and not my bookcases.
Yes, I want to have books in the bookcases because I feel it intrigues the children and increases their desire to learn if they can browse books, but I don’t remember the last time my kids were like, “Oh, “How to Write Creatively” looks like a good afternoon read!” Know what I mean?
