6 Reasons We Love Chuck E. Cheese’s

Share & Help Me Grow

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese’s. The opinions and text are all mine.

April is National Volunteer Month and Chuck E. Cheese’s is honoring Big Brothers Big Sisters by hosting a month-long, national fundraiser. Swing by your local Chuck E. Cheese’s and give before April 30!

Every couple of months, our family loves to visit Chuck E Cheese’s for a few hours of giggles and grins.

1) Community focus

On a recent trip, we learned that Chuck E. Cheese’s was accepting $1, $5 or any amount (of your choice) donations at the register to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Many children grow up in difficult circumstances and environments. Big Brothers Big Sisters exists to match adult volunteers (“Bigs”) with children (“Littles”) in order to “…develop strong, enduring and professionally supported relationships to change lives for the better.”

When you donate at any Chuck E. Cheese’s location nation-wide, you can pin your name up on the store’s wall or window to show your support.

You can also support Big Brothers Big Sisters by volunteering and becoming a positive role model to a child.

2) Safe kid-friendly environment

Since we are stamped with matching numbers upon entering and can see almost the entire store from anywhere, my husband and I feel we can safely let our older children roam while we play with their younger siblings.

Dirty tables are cleared quickly, the bathroom is always clean, and someone is always packing the salad bar with ice.

3) Fresh menu selections

I love the wholesome choices on the menu. With loads of fresh vegetables on the salad bar and gluten-free options, even my pickiest eater can find something yummy.

A large Thin and Crispy pizza is more than enough to fill our family… if we could only agree on the toppings. So, we always over order and end up taking leftovers home, but everyone is happy.

Did you read that?

EVERYONE IS HAPPY.

Moms with more than one child… you know how rare that happens.

4) Coupons and discounts

Before leaving the house, I always find coupons on the Chuck E Cheese’s website to help make our visit affordable.

But if you forget to print your coupons, don’t worry! Ask about the in-store specials.

5) Tokens!

The children love earning tickets to exchange for prizes so we load up on tokens to make sure everyone has plenty.

They challenge their Dad to skee-ball and basketball, which always results in laughter and cheers. Then, when the tokens are depleted and the food is gone, we had to exchange their tickets for prizes.

And speaking of the prize counter…

6) Attentive (and patient) staff

I am always amazed at the patience of the employees working the prize counter as my indecisive children labor over the choices.

Plus, someone from the Chuck E Cheese’s staff is always mingling around the game zone, checking to make sure we are having a good time.

Chuck E. Cheese’s cares about my family and our community. This mom definitely approves!

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.
