The No-Cry Discipline Solution by Elizabeth Pantley

Share & Help Me Grow

This is a sponsored review. Opinions are my own.

When the kids need discipline, who ends up crying more? You or the children? Believe it or not, there is a tear-free solution.

When the kids need discipline, who ends up crying more? You or the children? Believe it or not, there is a tear-free solution.

It is not a secret that I am a HUGE fan of Elizabeth Pantley since I have offered glowing reviews for The No-Cry Sleep Solution and The No-Cry Picky Eater Solution… but come on! You have got to give my biased-self a break because how can I not idolize the woman who guided me through teaching my child to sleep through the night?

Elizabeth Pantley

The No-Cry Discipline Solution is just as encouraging a book as all of Elizabeth’s other projects. Filled with gentle reminders to embrace the day and relax, I enjoyed the encouragement and was able to find several new ideas to apply in our home.

I think the practicality of Elizabeth’s books is what excites me the most.

I have never tried to hide the fact that I am constantly striving to manage my anger reflex. My mother was a rage-o-holic and I followed that example through the first few years of my life as a parent until I decided to break the chain. Part three of the book helped me realize that I am not the only parent in this position. The entire book is studded with quotes from parents, but the voices represented in this section really made me want to cry.

So many of us struggle with remaining calm… and we make mistakes… and then we have a huge heap of Mommy-Guilt… and we start a savings plan in order to afford therapy for our children when they are older…

Elizabeth’s book, The No-Cry Discipline Solution will make you feel:

  • Normal ~ Yes, anger is a part of parenthood but there are ways to get control and have a peaceful home.
  • Encouraged ~ There are gentle solutions available for helping your child to make better behavioral decisions.
  • Knowledgeable ~ You can choose correct disciplinary action when you are more aware of why your child is misbehaving.
  • Ready ~ With a breakdown of the common behavior problems, what to do, and what not to do, you will walk away with an arsenal of practical ideas for avoiding those intense situations.
