The Symbols of Christmas ~ Why We Decorate (Free Powerpoint)

Share & Help Me Grow

The first year I started talking to the children about the different meaning behind our Christmas decorations, Bill looked at me a little cross-eyed. After the children were tucked into bed, he admitted that he had never known there was a symbolic reason for the different items we use to celebrate the season. Honestly, I don’t know where I heard it but it was probably from my mother. Regardless, it is definitely something I want my children to know and to pass down to their children.

I never want Christmas to just be a day where Santa comes and brings presents. Nope. Christmas is a condition of the heart, recognizing that God sent His Son as a gift, a gift that we could not purchase for ourselves but desperately needed.

This Powerpoint presentation will work perfectly with the Christmas Unit Study Lesson Plan. I hope you enjoy it!

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.
