ThinkFun Pathwords Jr Educational Game Review

Share & Help Me Grow

I am a sucker for educational games. If I see something that looks like the children will enjoy it and they will be learning while having fun, I add it to our family wish list to have handy if someone inquires about gift ideas for the children.

But, let’s be honest… Most educational games are not exactly affordable UNLESS they are from ThinkFun. All of ThinkFun’s learning games are not only entertaining but very reasonably priced. Just one of the reasons why I love ThinkFun so much!

inexpensive learning games

Recently, we were blessed with the opportunity to review Pathwords Jr by ThinkFun. From the moment the game arrived, the children were bouncing.

Pathwords Jr  is divided by levels which progressively increase in skill. The game operates similar to a find-a-word puzzle but the words are not confined to start lines. Using the shape of the designated game pieces, you search for words in the puzzle. When you have used all of the required shapes, the level is complete.

These puzzles build letter recognition, reading skills, and logic, and Pathwords Jr would be a great addition to a family homeschool or classroom.

Lira did not need instructions. She immediately went to matching the shapes to the words.

fun, budget-friendly learning games

With each completed puzzle, a short party broke out in our living room.

Another great thing about Pathwords Jr… even if your child cannot read, he can still still find the letters and make the path, building alphabet recognition and counting skills.

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.

Excellent to read the news there! The local community can count on Intel to help them provide great learning experiences for their students. We work with the hundreds of professional educators at https://studyclerk.com/ site for essay maker and organisations across the country who are educating young people by bringing technology and systems engineering together with education. The teachers bring their skills and expertise to local companies to teach and motivate their high school employees. Thank you!
