Valentine’s Day Snack for Kids

Share & Help Me Grow

A few years ago, I needed a Valentine’s Day snack for kids at a class party. I wanted something (semi) nutritious as I knew the kids would be filling up on candy. These Cupid’s Arrow Sandwiches were the perfect solution.

Such a simple Valentine's Day snack for kids!

Putting the sandwiches together does take a little time but you could always involve your children to make it go a little faster.

You will need:

  • Fruit Slices
  • Pretzel Sticks
  • Bread
  • Peanut butter, almond butter, sun butter, and/or jelly
  • Heart-shaped Cookie Cutter

Start by cutting fruit slices. You can get two heart shapes from each fruit slice and then one remnant piece to use as the arrowhead.

Then, gently press a pretzel stick into each piece. You might need to twist the pretzel stick slightly as you push the two together.

Cut hearts from bread using the cookie cutter and then apply the spread of your choice.

Lay the pretzels across the heart and place the remaining bread slice on top.

These Valentine’s Day sandwiches are adorable, and I promise your kids will love them!

Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.
