Traditional Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients into a freezer bag and shake. Freeze up to 6 months.

To make the cookies:

  • Cream together 1 cup butter, softened, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 2 large eggs. Stir in dry ingredients.
  • Use a medium cookie scoop to place cookies on a baking sheet. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
