When Lorilee first asked me if I would be interviewed for a new book she was inspired to create, I wondered, “Why me?” I honestly don’t feel like anything special. Then, when I saw the list of other homeschoolers included, I really felt small.
As I click through the book, a truth became very real to me:Â Whether you feel you are a big star or small potatoes, we are all the same at the foot of the cross.
Everyone has a story to tell. Each person has encouragement to offer. Every family is different, but we can learn from one another.
Not sure you could homeschool? This book is for you!

We are beginning to homeschool this year with our 8 year old daughter.
This is my first year staying home with my 4 and 2 yr olds, but I am home because of God working through my son’s high functioning autism to get us to really prioritize our children’s time and schooling.
I am a newbie 🙂
I know several friends I would love to share this with! Great idea! 🙂
I have been homeschooling my son for the last 5 years. It has its ups and downs but what a joy to travel along with him on this journey that God has so graciously given us. Looking forward to many more years. Would not trade the time spent with him for nothing.
Homeschooling for 5 years. Can always use all the help and advice I can get!
We are doing our first year of honest to goodness homeschooling — Kindergarten for my 4 yo. We’ve been dabbling in preschool/tot school for years…
I’m starting my second year homechooling my three kids. Would love to win this book!
I’ve gone from homeschool graduate to homeschool teacher. It’s a lot harder than it looks! LOL!
First year homeschooling 3 kids. 15,13, and 7! been interesting so far!
We are just starting our homeschooling journey this year with K4!
3 yr homeschooling a 5th & 1st grader with a 1 yr old.
With the encouragement of a friend from church, I am going to start homeschooling my 4 year old son this Tuesday! I am SO excited!!!!!!!! I know there will be days that I will feel inadequate as I feel all mothers do from time to time. However, I am trusting that God will guide me on this journey. Having great support from a homeschool group won’t hurt either!
P.S. I will be having my 1 year old as well. I bet he will pick up on things that I teach my firstborn:)
Well, I’ve been homeschooling since my son was born in 2005, but this is the first official year for us. I’ve got the first month planned and we’re ready to go!
I don’t even have kids yet and I’m already worried if I’ll have enough discipline, patience, education etc. to do it!
I just started homeschooling my 5yo daughter for kindergarten this year! 🙂 your blog has already been so helpful!
Just starting what my friends call preschool, although I’ve really been homeschooling since birth!
