You Can Do It Too! Encouragement for Homeschoolers

Share & Help Me Grow

get encouragement for homeschool mothers

Now available! Get a PDF and Kindle version in one, easy download.

When Lorilee first asked me if I would be interviewed for a new book she was inspired to create, I wondered, “Why me?” I honestly don’t feel like anything special. Then, when I saw the list of other homeschoolers included, I really felt small.

As I click through the book, a truth became very real to me: Whether you feel you are a big star or small potatoes, we are all the same at the foot of the cross.

Everyone has a story to tell. Each person has encouragement to offer. Every family is different, but we can learn from one another.

Not sure you could homeschool? This book is for you!

Afraid you don’t have the education or patience?  This book is for you!

Curious about what it looks like day-to-day?  This book is for you!

Overwhelmed by homeschool options? This book is for you!

This interview-style book includes words of wisdom and encouragement from:

  • Toni from TheHappyHousewife.com
  • Joy from FiveJs.com
  • Carissa from 1+1+1=1
  • Wendy from Hip Homeschool Moms
  • Carlie from So You Call Yourself A Homeschooler?
  • Kristen from The Frugal Girl
  • and others ~ 26 homeschooling families in all.

…this is no little e-book.  The PDF version 250+ pages and there are over 80,000 words.  Incredible content for the price!

About Tabitha

Hi! I'm Tabitha! But, I bet you expected someone named "Penny." Long story made short, Penny is the coupon binder I started in 2010 when we were totally broke... as in BANKRUPT. Now, as a mom of five, I make 6-figures a year working at home and share ways to help you move from penny to profit while you raise a family with sense on cents.

This is my first year staying home with my 4 and 2 yr olds, but I am home because of God working through my son’s high functioning autism to get us to really prioritize our children’s time and schooling.

I have been homeschooling my son for the last 5 years. It has its ups and downs but what a joy to travel along with him on this journey that God has so graciously given us. Looking forward to many more years. Would not trade the time spent with him for nothing.

We are doing our first year of honest to goodness homeschooling — Kindergarten for my 4 yo. We’ve been dabbling in preschool/tot school for years…

With the encouragement of a friend from church, I am going to start homeschooling my 4 year old son this Tuesday! I am SO excited!!!!!!!! I know there will be days that I will feel inadequate as I feel all mothers do from time to time. However, I am trusting that God will guide me on this journey. Having great support from a homeschool group won’t hurt either!

Well, I’ve been homeschooling since my son was born in 2005, but this is the first official year for us. I’ve got the first month planned and we’re ready to go!
